Assalamualaikum ! Hello there ! It is my ninth entry . As
all we know , our Datuk Lee Chong Wei has brought to us a silver medal from the most prestigious games which is
Olympic 2012 . Although it is not a gold medal , but he is the true athlete .
He is our Olympic Gold Medal and no one can take the credits away from him . I
really proud of him .
Datuk Lee Chong Wei was born 21 October 1982 in Bagan Serai,
Perak . He is a professional badminton player from Malaysia who resides in
Bukit Mertajam. As a singles player, Lee was ranked first worldwide for 199
consecutive weeks from 21 August 2008 to 14 June 2012. He is the third
Malaysian men's singles shuttler after Rashid Sidek and Roslin Hashim to
achieve such a ranking (since official rankings were first kept in the 1980s),
and is the only Malaysian shuttler to hold the ranking for more than two weeks.
